Frame 10: 68 from Hawkins good contender for the frame takes it 7-3.

Frame 11: Tight frame so far Hawkins with the edge, colours left for Barry, mountain to climb for Lisowski 8-3 Hawkins.

Frame 12: 19-0 in Barry's favour cluster of reds at the moment no real opportunities, Hawkins is away, breaks down on 26, 45-0 in Barry's favour strong favourite for a 5 frame lead, Barry goes within one of the next round.

Frame 13: 21 and counting for Barry cracking red to keep the break going after seemingly running out of position, 40 good points for Barry. Barry Hawkins into the 2nd round with a good win.

Hawkins rattled off the first frame of their second session with a break of 68 and then used his superior match play experience to take the next three to win the match before the mid-session interval.
 
Lisowski, a potter and break-builder of some quality, let the match slip away from him with some poor safety shots as Hawkins won the next three frames 61-31, 75-36 and 71-21 to secure a spot in the last-16.
