Masters 2017 The Final Part 2

MATCH SCORE: Joe Perry 7-10 Ronnie O'Sullivan

Session 2 score: Joe Perry 3-6 Ronnie O'Sullivan

Frame 9: Amazing atmosphere tonight, Ronnie will be buoyed that he won the last 3 frames of the first session, safety battle going on at the moment, 2 reds potted each, cagey so far, after 12-13mins of safety, Ronnie fouls in the left middle on a break of 11, 14pts each after around 20mins of playing time tonight, 3 reds left on the table Ronnie leads by 20 points. another mini safety battle on the last red. Ronnie forces the error from Joe he left the last red on, Ronnie takes the lead in the final for the first time. 32' frame Perry 4-5 O'Sullivan.

Frame 10: Ronnie in control now, Joe was first in only made 4 points, a 60 break in just over 6 minutes, a 68 break in the end after a mini medical disturbance in the crowd, Ronnie elects to carry on whilst the audience member is helped out of Ally Pally, on the resumption Ronnie goes on to win the frame 56 clearance. Perry 4-6 O'Sullivan. 

Frame 11: 47 break from the Rocket, 55 points in front, massive miss on the black by Joe he can't afford to miss these chances. Another frame for the Rocket. Perry 4-7 O'Sullivan.

Frame 12: Joe set on 15 poor shot splitting the pack, break of 85 for the Rocket, 7 frames in a row, Perry 4-8 O'Sullivan.

Frame 13: Ronnie just makes one, Joe Perry stops the rot in emphatic style with a century, 117, Perry 5-8 O'Sullivan.

Frame 14: Almost a carbon copy of the last frame, only one for the Rocket, Joe Perry makes a 92 break, Perry 6-8 O'Sullivan.

Frame 15: Ronnie makes 18 misses Joe can't take advantage, BBC pundit Steve Davis mentioned he would be impressed if Joe won this frame (to go 7-8), he makes a valid point. Ronnie back at the table though, a frame winning break of 112, he goes one away from the title, Perry 6-9 O'Sullivan. 

Frame 16: A 14 break from Joe, then he carelessly its the blue after a safety, Ronnie then misses a black, he has issues with the tip of his cue as he has a file trying to soften it up, a 39 break from Joe ends after a long red towards the yellow pocket fails to drop, fabulous long red by Joe maybe the match isn't over quite yet! Perry 7-9 O'Sullivan.

Frame 17: A 24 break to start for Joe, he lost posiiton played safe off the black, Perry leads by 39 misses a red into the yellow pocket, is this Ronnie's chance? Moves to within 3 points of Joe 39-36 to the Gentleman, safety battle going on, Ronnie pots the last red, Ronnie wins his 7th Masters title! Perry 7-10 O'Sullivan.
